Pushing That Extra Half an Inch

While adding an extra buzz to the magazine circulation, November’s front cover of Harper’s Bazaar has been as ornate as it has been a selling tool. A fresh faced Victoria Beckham, dressed in a slinky golden cami, is of course a reliable sale of a magazine that speaks the language of mainstream-to-upper fashion. And what a handy write-up for Mrs Beckham.

As Posh now releases her second book, the former Spice Girl’s appearance in Harper’s isn’t just a quick win for Alison Veness-McGourty alone. The book, That Extra Half an Inch, which we mentioned some time ago, covers Posh’s own advice on how to make the most of your wardrobe and look extra super-fabulous at all times. “Looking good isn't about money, it's about style”, says Victoria and adds that “style never goes out of fashion”. A statement like this may come across as the usual celeb-babble, but Posh proves she is well respected among both young fans as well as the fashion-circle.

As Posh now is making a serious career of her life-long passion, the first step in the style transformation has been to ditch the hair extensions that have become synonymous with WAG wannabes. Turning up in New York Fashion Week in a new sassy bob, she debuted no less than 10 high-fashion ensembles in the four days she spent there.

i like her new look, now if only she could at least gain 10 pounds then she would look so much better.

I love her. : ) And I think her weight looks fine. Just as long as she doesnt get too out of hand with it.

She's sexy, sassy... too far from her Spice Girls image. I don't like her then.

Sorry but I don't think Posh a single stylish bone in her body. She's a contrived, fake wannabe. From her tan, to her tits I don't buy it. She looked completely out of place in NY looking like she was trying so hard - and failing.

now I'm really curious about her book. I wonder how much work she's gotten done but I do love her fashion sense.

She's gone a long way. I really didn't know that she can be a fashion icon.

I have been working on Styling (in NYC) ads for a new company, EENAMARIA, and went crazy for their bags and belt-bags.

The designs are some of the most innovative i've seen, and very utilitarian. I actually already put an order in for their newest collection-Kensington, made of the softest lambskin I've ever felt-maybe even better than the Chanel thigh-high's-take that Karl.

Check out this new brand, www.eenamaria.com, and my styling page, www.myspace.com/jennifersennott

she looks fab there, which is unusual. Usually she just looks hungry, shiny, and pissed off.
