With invitations pouring in every day, we’re excited to see the opening of the fashion week on Wednesday. But tonight we’re off to do something else... We’re attending the M·A·C Chinese Dress Exhibition in Chinatown. M·A·C Cosmetics, being one of the major sponsors of the event, will officially kick off Mercedes Australian Fashion Week tonight. A live exhibition of the Qi Pao is held (Qi Pao is the classic Chinese Dress), but instead of a normal presentation of beatiful fabrics, the dresses we'll see tonight are created entirely with M·A·C makeup products painted directly on nude models... Sounds fun, doesn't it? Expect a filtered report tomorrow.
